What it is

The title of this newsletter apparently comes from H.G. Wells’ The War of the Worlds. I first discovered it via Tom Hardy’s mixtape. Maybe that illustrates a little bit of what you’ll be signing up for if you choose to subscribe, maybe not.

Here I test my ability to make connections, both intellectually and interpersonally. I can promise not to be up to date with pop culture, to struggle to find a niche that would help me cultivate a loyal audience, and not to stick 90% of my content behind a paywall.
